The shortlist

Seven CodeTwo alternatives, and who each is for

We make Scribe, so it is listed first. Every tool, ours included, is described from its vendor's public pricing and product pages as of October 2026, with its main limitation.

  1. Scribe

Best for: Teams of 50 to 5,000+ where Marketing runs signatures and IT sets them up once

Centralised signatures for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, installed client-side so people see them while composing, with server-side as an option. Campaign banners, click and conversion analytics, and a full developer stack: REST API, webhooks, CLI and an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT.

    Pricing
Free for 2 users; $116/month for 50 users billed yearly; Enterprise quote from 100 users.
    Watch out for
Costs more per user than the cheapest tools on this list, and does not support on-premises Exchange.
    See Scribe pricing →
  2. Exclaimer

Best for: IT-led organisations that need Exchange on-premises support or a long-established vendor

One of the oldest signature platforms, covering Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Exchange with server-side and client-side deployment on every plan.

    Pricing
    $0.90 to $1.75 per user/month billed annually, 10-user minimum.
    Watch out for
Campaigns start on Standard and analytics on Pro; no public developer API.

  3. Letsignit

Best for: Mid-size and large companies on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace that want campaigns and A/B tests

A French signature platform with add-in deployment, campaign scheduling and A/B testing, a click analytics dashboard and a Salesforce connector. It also sells a Slides product for presentations.

    Pricing
$2 per user/month on an annual subscription.
    Watch out for
Exchange, server-side (SMTP) deployment and on-premises AD are Enterprise-only; the public API covers signature retrieval.
Scribe vs Letsignit, in detail →
  4. WiseStamp

Best for: Small businesses and freelancers who start from a personal signature generator

The best-known signature generator, with company plans that add Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 integration, employee sync and, on higher tiers, banners, analytics and server-side deployment.

    Pricing
From $19/month plus $1 per employee (Basic), billed annually.
    Watch out for
Banners and analytics start on Grow, server-side on Platform ($189/month base); no public API.
Scribe vs WiseStamp, in detail →
  5. Opensense

Best for: B2B revenue teams that want signature banners targeted by account and CRM stage

Signature management plus account-based banner targeting, A/B tests and CRM integrations, sold alongside a separate email tracking product.

    Pricing
    $1 to $5 per user/month, with a $500/month minimum plus a service plan.
    Watch out for
The $500 monthly minimum makes it expensive below a few hundred users; targeting features need the upper plans.
Scribe vs Opensense, in detail →
  6. Xink

Best for: Budget-conscious teams under 300 users that want directory-driven signatures

A Danish signature manager that syncs from Entra ID, Google Directory, on-premises AD or SQL, with scheduled campaigns, built-in statistics and a REST API.

    Pricing
    About $0.55 to $1.10 per user/month, volume-based, up to 300 users.
    Watch out for
Above 300 licences pricing is by quote; server-side deployment is not documented.
Scribe vs Xink, in detail →
  7. Rocketseed

Best for: Companies that want a managed, done-for-you setup including banner design

A server-side signature and banner platform for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, sold with a one-time setup service and 24/7 support.

    Pricing
About $1.02 to $1.18 per user/month billed yearly for 50 to 200 users, plus a setup fee.
    Watch out for
Server-side only, so people do not see the signature while composing; setup fee not published.

How to switch

How to switch from CodeTwo to Scribe

Five steps. Run both tools side by side until the pilot group signs off, so nobody sends an email without a signature.

1

Connect your email platform and directory

Start a free trial, connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and sync teammates from Entra ID, Google Directory, Okta or your HRIS. Names, titles and phone numbers fill in automatically.

2

Rebuild your CodeTwo template

Recreate your current signature in the no-code editor or start from a template, then map each CodeTwo field to a Scribe Smartfield. Add reply and internal variants if you used them.

3

Test with a pilot group

Publish to one team first and check rendering in Outlook, Gmail and on mobile. Choose client-side, server-side or both.

4

Turn off CodeTwo signatures

Once Scribe signatures are live for a group, remove those users from your CodeTwo signature rules. If you used cloud mode, disable the CodeTwo mail-flow connectors and transport rules in Exchange Online; if you used the Outlook add-in, unassign it in the Microsoft 365 admin centre. This avoids double signatures.

5

Roll out and move your campaigns

Publish to everyone, recreate active banner campaigns, and add the Scribe SDK to your website so signature clicks are tied to conversions from day one.

FAQ

CodeTwo alternatives: common questions

The most common CodeTwo alternatives are Scribe (Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, conversion analytics, API and MCP), Exclaimer (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Exchange), Letsignit (add-in deployment with A/B-tested campaigns), WiseStamp (small teams), Opensense (account-based banners), Xink (low-cost, directory-driven) and Rocketseed (managed server-side setup).

CodeTwo Email Signatures 365 is built for Microsoft 365 only. Scribe, Exclaimer, Letsignit, WiseStamp, Opensense, Xink and Rocketseed all support Google Workspace. Scribe and Exclaimer manage Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 from one account, which suits companies running both.

On published list prices, Xink (about $0.55 to $1.10 per user per month up to 300 users) and Exclaimer Starter ($0.90 per user per month, billed annually) are in the same range as CodeTwo ($0.81 to $1.36). Rocketseed works out at about $1.02 to $1.18 per user per month for 50 to 200 users, plus a setup fee.

Scribe has a public REST API, webhooks, a CLI and a hosted MCP server for AI assistants. Xink documents a REST API, and Letsignit has a public API for retrieving signatures. CodeTwo does not document a public API for its signature product.

Not on list price. Scribe costs about $2.32 per user per month at 50 users billed yearly, against $0.81 to $1.36 for CodeTwo. Scribe adds Google Workspace support, built-in click and conversion analytics, and an API and MCP server, is free for up to 2 users, and has no 10-licence minimum.

Connect the new tool to Microsoft 365, sync Entra ID, rebuild your templates, and test on a pilot group. Then remove those users from CodeTwo's signature rules, and disable its cloud-mode connectors or unassign its Outlook add-in, so nobody gets two signatures.
