Scribe is SOC 2 Type II compliant. You can find the scopes we use from the Google API here. We can't send or read your emails.
Select which teammates to sync with Scribe
You can select teammates from your teammates list, Units, or Groups. Select which ones to import now—you can add more later. Their information is also synced so you can auto-fill their signatures later using Smartfield.
Done, your teammates are synced with Scribe
Go to Signatures to assign teammates and create their signatures.

Yes. Scribe re-syncs your connected directory once a day, based on your time zone, and you can refresh on demand. New employees and job changes in Google Workspace flow to Scribe automatically, following your auto-sync preferences.
A Google Workspace account with Super Admin privileges to connect, plus admin access in Scribe. Scribe only reads the directory information needed to create teammates and fill their signatures; it cannot send or read your emails. Scribe is SOC 2 Type II certified.

Yes. Connect the Scribe MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another AI assistant and it can walk you through this guide, create and assign signatures, and check that the installation went through. Authorising Google Workspace itself (admin consent, OAuth or an API key) has to be done by you, in your browser: an AI agent cannot grant that access on your behalf.
