FAQ
Your Google Workspace integration questions answered
No. Scribe installs signatures centrally for every Google Workspace user you assign, and teammates see their signature when composing emails.
The Google Workspace integration installs signatures for Web and iOS. To cover every other client and device, including Apple Mail, use the server-side Google Workspace integration on its own or together with this one.
No. The Google Workspace integration is cloud-based: the signature lives in each user's Google Workspace account and your emails stay within your email provider. Scribe is SOC 2 Type II certified.
Publish the change in Scribe and it is pushed to every assigned Google Workspace user automatically; there is nothing to reinstall. Smartfields keep names, job titles and phone numbers up to date.
About 5 minutes. Follow the installation guide above: most steps happen in Google Workspace, the rest in Scribe.
Yes. Connect the Scribe MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another AI assistant and it can walk you through this guide, create and assign signatures, and check that the installation went through. Authorising Google Workspace itself (admin consent, OAuth or an API key) has to be done by you, in your browser: an AI agent cannot grant that access on your behalf. See scribe-mail.com/ai-agents.
