In Scribe, a paid user is a teammate whose primary email address has been assigned a signature. For example, if you sync 1,000 teammates from your email provider with Scribe and only assign signatures to 500 of them, you'll be billed for just those 500 users. We charge for primary email addresses, not alias emails. When a teammate's primary email is assigned to multiple signature templates, they still count as just one paid user.

Your invoice is automatically adjusted when users are added or removed from your signatures in Scribe. You're only billed for the actual time users have signatures assigned. For monthly billing: New users are billed the following month, and removed users result in credits on your next invoice. For annual billing: Additional users are charged monthly and prorated, giving you flexibility while maintaining your annual discount.

Scribe automatically moves you to the best plan based on your number of users, so you always get the best price as your organization grows. If you start with a Business plan (under 100 users) and then exceed 100 users, you'll be automatically upgraded to our Enterprise plan which includes volume discounts. This ensures you continue to receive the best pricing for your current user count. You can view your updated pricing details in your Scribe settings at any time.

You can cancel your monthly or yearly subscription at any time directly from your Scribe settings or by downgrading to the free plan.

Our monthly and yearly plans are non-refundable as mentioned in our terms and services. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time to avoid future charges.

When you deactivate a user license in your Google Workspace Directory or Microsoft Entra ID, their signature will be removed from Scribe and they will be removed from your subscription billing.

We are SOC 2 Type II compliant, ensuring enterprise-grade security standards with regular third-party audits. We prioritize data privacy: Scribe cannot read or edit your emails, and we cannot modify teammate information from your email provider. Your data remains secure and under your control at all times.

Yes, Scribe is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). GDPR requires businesses to protect the personal data and privacy of EU citizens. Under GDPR, EU citizens have the right to: • Request all information a company has collected about them • Request deletion of their personal data from company systems and sub-processors If you wish to exercise these rights regarding data that Scribe and its sub-processors have collected, please contact us at hello@scribe-mail.com.
