Open Ask AI
Click the Ask AI button in the bottom-right corner of any page, or press ⌘J on Mac and Ctrl+J on Windows.

Ask a question, describe a signature, or add a screenshot or pasted HTML. It knows the page you are on.

Approve the change
Every change shows a card that says what will happen, like publishing a signature to 14 mailboxes. Nothing changes until you click Yes, do it.

Owners and admins only
Only the owners and admins of a workspace can use the Scribe AI agent. Members never see the Ask AI button.

A conversation is private to you and deleted 90 days after its last message, or at once when you delete it.

Your Scribe AI agent questions answered
The Scribe AI agent is the assistant built into the Scribe email signature platform. It answers questions about Scribe from the help center, reads your workspace to answer questions about it, builds signatures in the editor, and makes the changes you approve. Open it with the Ask AI button or ⌘J (Ctrl+J on Windows).
With your approval, it creates, edits, duplicates, and deletes signatures and their variants, chooses who gets a signature, then publishes and installs it, adds and syncs teammates, manages smart fields, folders, and media library images, and creates, schedules, pauses, and resumes campaigns. It also opens the right page or setting when you ask.
No. Outside the editor, every change shows an approval card in plain words, and nothing happens until you click Yes, do it. In the signature editor it edits the draft in front of you, every change can be undone, and it never publishes: you do.
It never changes your billing or plan, deletes your workspace, manages members or their roles, sets up SSO or domains, sends invitations or notifications to your teammates, or deletes in bulk. When you ask for one of these, it takes you to the right page or to our support team.
The owners and admins of a workspace on the Business and Enterprise plans, and during the 14-day free trial. People with the Member role don't see the Ask AI button. It works in the Scribe web app, not in the desktop app or the Outlook add-in.
Answers are written by Anthropic's Claude. Anthropic is one of Scribe's subprocessors and doesn't use your conversations to train its models, and neither does Scribe. A conversation is private to you and deleted 90 days after its last message.
The Scribe AI agent lives inside the Scribe web app, with nothing to connect. The Scribe MCP server brings Scribe to the AI assistant you already use, like Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor, so you can manage signatures from there.
